Hi all, it was great to see so many people at the 40th reunion. My Dad (91) still lives in Sylvania and, thank goodness, remains in good health and just got his first COVID vaccination! As for me, after high school, college and law school (where I met my husband, Joseph Franco), we first ended up in NYC for a few years, then moved to Washington DC when Joe got a job with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and I started working for a national civil rights organization on voting rights cases.  We had our first two children there in DC (Patricia and Peter).  After about 10 years in the DC area we moved to Boston, where I have continued working for a couple of different non-profit civil rights organizations, working on voting rights and voter participation, election reform, and similar issues.  Joe is a law professor at Suffolk University Law School.  Our third child, Sophia, was born in Boston.  Currently I’m the Interim Legal Director at an organization called Demos (it’s not an acronym – it’s Greek for "the people" -- check it out at www.demos.org). Like many, I'm working from home. I live in Newton MA (just outside of Boston) with husband and Milo, our dog (labradoodle) -- the kids have flown the coop.

What would your friends be the most surprised to know about you now?: That I have become a die-hard Red Sox fan and read the sports page first every day .
