Always loved science so headed off to be a research scientisit - started into a PhD program at MCO, switched to Medical Technology after deciding to get married to Mike who I met at UT in undergrad. He is an electrical engineer for Chrysler.
Worked in several area hospitals for 14 years, then a really neat Pathologist introduced me to the world of computers and I was hooked.

Around this time our son Eric was born so I worked part-time for a while to focus on being a mom while still following a path in healthcare IT.
This turned into management opportunities and recently I've had an opportunity as Corporate Director Clinical Informatics for Catholic Healthcare Partners, a 34 hospital mission-based system in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
We live out along the Maumee River on what was a horse farm - now turned into a museum of sorts for Mike's collection of antique tractors.

I was never the least bit athletic in high school or otherwise, but took up tennis at 41 and loved it. I've been playing with a fun group of women from Fallen Timbers Tennis Club in Waterville ever since. I'm not as good as Sharee Youssef but I have fun ;-)
Eric is now in his last year of college at Univ. North Carolina School of the Arts in Fillmmaking and we may eventually follow him out to the west coast for a retirement away from the Ohio winters - maybe even San Diego where my sister liives.
I've never attended one of our reunions before- should be fun to catch up.

I have been in Washington state since 1984, in Kitsap County across Puget Sound from Seattle. My wife Jacquelyn is civil prosecutor for the County, and we have three accomplished and enjoyable daughters.  Ruth is a senior at Carleton College (Northfield, Minnesota) Ava is a freshman at Bucknell College (Lewisburg, Pennsylvania), and Helen is junior high school. We have enjoyed  our time together skiing, hiking, kayaking and sailing in the Northwest, and have been fortune to travel together in Europe and China.
While I have enjoyed my life in the Northwest, I now appreciate even more the positive experience I had in high school at Sylvania and in outside music activities.  Oh yes, I am still actively playing trombone and my daughters are all string players!

This is an easy one...anyone who spent a minute in class with me, would be stunned to learn that last year I was inducted into the Sylvania City Schools Alumni Academic Hall of Fame. Not at all sure I am worthy of that, but it means a great deal to me.
