Thanks to the Reunion Committee for all their hard work!

I have been divorced for 6 years now and still friends with the ex.  I have 2 wonderful daughters Treva, 29 who is awaiting her license to be a hairdresser and who works with me as an asst manager for Lock It Up Self Storage.  Sheena, 27 who is an eeg tech at St V's and Toledo Hospitals.  She has given me 3 beautiful grandkids.  Gabby 8, Gavin 6 and Gaje 4.  I also have 4 step grandchilden from my upcoming marriage by the end of this year.  My life is great.

I am a fortunate one to have 2 sisters, Jackie my youngest is 10 years younger and she had a double lung transplant in cleveland almost 3 years ago now which saved her life by a few days.  Both parents are still alive and doing well.  I have been blessed with both great family and friends.

Looking forward to seeing my IOE girls on Friday night at the Village Inn. And everyone else too.

What would your friends be the most surprised to know about you now?: I am not quiet like I used to be. Its amazing that Kitty Gstalder and I were best friends in H.S. and she ended up being a wonderful teacher to my 7 year old grandaughter last school year.
Who was your favorite teacher?: Mrs Snyder and Mrs Gilchrest

Comment:      Left Sylvania to discover that my SHS classmates were as intelligent and much nicer than most Duke students.  I am sorry to have taken you guys for granted.  Go Wildcats!

I met my husband of 29 years over a cadaver in anatomy lab at Ohio State, and following our respective residencies in Columbus, Dave and I drove west on I-70 to Indianapolis.  We settled in a little burg of 5000 people with one traffic light.  Twenty-five years later, Fishers has 75,000 people.  I am so used to fast growth that it is always a shock to see NW Ohio pretty much the same.

Dave and I are blessed to be sandwiched between four parents in Ohio, two grown kids in graduate school, and one first-grader. Sometimes, it feels more like a triple-decker sandwich!  My parents are still in the same house from which I rode Bus #3 to Stranahan Elementary for kindergarten.

My tennis days are behind me, following an unfortunate mushing accident, but I am enjoying swimming, biking and running.  One of these days I hope to put them together in that order.

Thank you Vicki and reunion committee.  I am looking forward to reconnecting, remembering, and laughing often and much!

What would your friends be the most surprised to know about you now?: I have every issue of "The Student Prints," and am bringing the unofficial TSP staff photo. Have your excuse prepared in advance.
Share a favorite memory -- something that made you laugh or cry or feel pride in your school...share: Attending SHS during its begrudging compliance with Title IX allowed me to represent our school in three varsity sports.
Who was your favorite teacher?: Mrs. Long, Ms. Graber, and Mr. Marlo
Share an embarrassing moment or a prank that was played on someone else or on you...: Hearing the AD announce at the winter sports banquet that our nascent Wildcat girls basketball team was so dedicated that "(we) played without uniforms the first couple of games." The boys' teams roared, and Mr. Glase flushed three shades of red.
